The A-Team Missions Blog

Last year my friend Ashley and I took a 3 week mission trip to Casa Bernabe in Guatemala. This year we are going to be there for a little under 5 weeks. It's crazy how time is flying!! There's lots to get done here at home until June 26, but regardless we are excited to say the least.

We are going to share our highlights and experiences as best we can through our blog. Will you follow our blog and commit to praying for us?! PLEASE!? Yes! Perfect.

It's good...it's real good!

Hey there. This past weekend I went to a beautiful lakehouse on Lake Conroe with some friends from church. We all signed up to bring something...so, I signed up to bring a Whole Bean Black Bean Dip. My friends loved it!! (Thank you Tia Elma for the recipe!!)

I told them I'd share it as long as I'm the one to bring this to the parties! :o) haha!!Anyway, they want the recipe and and I figured it wouldn't hurt to share it with the rest of you.

So, get yourself a serving bowl and hop to it!!

1 can whole bean Black Beans
1 small can of whole kernel corn
1 medium sized green bell pepper
1 medium sized red bell pepper
1/2 medium red onion
CILANTRO - how do you measure cilantro? I just take half of the bunch
1 lime squeeze the ever living juice out of it.
dashes of Tabasco to taste.
Italian dressing to taste.

So, open the cans of black beans and corn....drain and put it in the mixing bowl. Chop all the vegetables. And then put that all in your mixing bowl. Add Tabasco and Italian dressing. Once it's mixed it's ready to eat with some Tostitos Scoops.
